This is perhaps the best-loved opera of the past 100 years. Romance, unadorned and unashamed, with music that lives forever in our memories. This opera demonstrates like no other that the ears are connected directly to the heart. A wonderfully appealing cast of young American artists will be directed by Sandra Bernhard, and the fast-rising Spanish maestro David Gimenez will conduct.
