Dust off your tuxedo and air out your ball gown, it's time once again for Portland Opera's annual gala, The Masquerade. This year's affair will carry on in the Grand Ballroom of the Portland Art Museum on Friday, October 27.

The theme of the Fall 2000 Masquerade is To Catch A Thief, based on Alfred Hitchcock's 1954 elegant thriller starring Cary Grant and Grace Kelly. Set on the French Riviera, guests can expect a memorable evening of cocktails, dinner, dancing and casino gaming, with a little bit of thievery and intrigue thrown in for fun.

On top of enjoying delicious food and drink. To Catch A Thief attendees will have the opportunity to play a game of chance and win some prizes in the Spirit Mountain Casino Lounge, dance the night away to the John Bennett Orchestra and experience a taste of what Portland Opera specializes in - OPERA!

Tickets to To Catch A Thief - The Masquerade are $150 per person and can be purchased by calling 503-417-0572. All proceeds from the gala benefit Portland Opera, a nonprofit arts organization.
