The internationally acclaimed producer of the Pavarotti concert tours and the renowned Three Tenors concerts has created a breathtaking arena-style production of Puccini’s final opera, Turandot, for an exclusive world tour.
40 percent of the Rose Garden Arena will be transformed into a nearly to scale traditional Chinese palace surrounded by a colorful ornate village. The production will feature a talented all-Chinese cast of more than 150 performers, including 36 traditional Chinese ballet dancers.
Portland is one of only three cities on the West Coast selected to host this spectacular production.
