Conquent got involved with Tech Hero pretty much right from the beginning. As a company looking to establish a national computer repair business, Tech Hero needed an application which could be be used anywhere, be easily scaled as the company grows, and be able to change and needs required -- they needed Conquent's web application experience.
But, more than that, they had no brand identity established, no systems to manage that identity once it was created, and no marketing in place.

Pulling together the graphic design elements and the programming for Tech Hero was a complicated by the fact that there are two, separate, web projects involved.
The first is the public website which allows customers to interact with Techs (schedule appointments, order product, learn about services, etc.). The site also had to include information offering Tech Hero franchises to potential buyers and investors.
The second site was for the program to run the entire, national, enterprise. Our team had to create logical, easy-to-use navigation, AJAX driven elements for dynamic scheduling and product searches, and keep the huge volume of programming up to date with the evolving graphic presentation of the company.

Conquent developed a complete enterprise management system designed to run on a tablet PC for Tech Hero. It handles estimates, work orders, invoicing, inventory, parts fulfillment, marketing, customer management, location management, time cards, mileage, and more.
This is probably the most sophisticated web-based applications in use by any service company. By choosing to put the entire company into a web-based enterprise system, Tech Hero and their representatives have the ability to track what's going on in the field in realtime, which makes their managers more effective and get the techs support they need immediately.
The database used by the techs through this sophisticated application is also used by the online store on the public website. The leads that come in from the public website fill the backend database as they convert into techs or owners. Communication flows to customers, techs, and vendors.
